  Collaboration Agreement for Super Critical / Ultra Super Critical  
   
 
Cethar Limited has entered into a Licensing Agreement with M/s.RILEY Power Inc., USA, a group company of Babcock Power Inc., USA to offer Once - Through Supercritical / Ultra Supercritical boilers using Siemens patented Low Mass Flux Benson technology suitable for sliding pressure operations.

Licensing Agreement was signed on 19th January 2010 and is valid for 15 years till 31st December 2024.

Cethar has also signed a Direct Licensing Agreement with Siemens AG, Germany and is authorized to use their trademark for Benson boilers.
 
   
  Technical collaboration with RILEY Power Inc., USA  
   
 
On August 06, 2007 CL entered into a licensing agreement with RILEY Power Inc., USA, a group company of internationally reputed Babcock Power Inc., USA, for Pulverized Coal Fired sub-critical pressure boiler up to a capacity of 600 MW.

The collaboration agreement, valid up to July 2017, provides full fledged technology transfer in

  Thermal engineering and sizing of the components
  Detailed design
  Sub-delivery selection procedures
  Manufacturing practices
  Quality Assurance Programs
  Erection and Commissioning procedures
  Updates in the above will be available

Under the Program, technical team of CL executives have been trained at RILEY Power works in USA in various areas covering: Boiler Performance and Proposals, Circulation, Aerodynamics, Layout, Structural Engineering, Fuel Firing, Controls and Instrumentation etc.
  
   
   
 
 
  Technical collaboration agreement with Kraftanlagen Munchen, Germany (KAM)  
   
 

CL has signed a technical collaboration agreement with Kraftanlagen Munchen, Germany (KAM) for Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply and Erection of Power Plant Piping for both Sub-Critical and Super-Critical applications.

The agreement, valid for 10 years period starting from June, 2008, provides technology transfer for welding and heat treatment processes for advanced materials like P12, P23, P92, Super 304H etc. Also it facilitates training of CL personnel at KAM works and supervision by KAM personnel at CL works and training.

CL will lead the consortium with KAM as partner for all the projects to be executed in India and other SAARC countries. CL will also support KAM in manufacturing for other markets.

  Cooperation Agreement with NEM for HRSG  
   
 

NEM, Netherlands b.v., the worlds renowned HRSG Supplier, and Cethar have entered into a cooperation agreement on November 14, 2008 for Drum-type Heat Recovery Steam Generators behind Gas Turbine for capacities 42 MWe and larger.

NEM b.v., an ISO 9001 certified company established in 1929, is a leading global supplier active in the field of generating equipment. Since the 1960s, NEM has supplied custom made solutions for Heat Recovery Steam generators, Industrial and Utility Boiler for Power Generating and Industrial applications world wide.

With hundreds of HRSGs sold world wide, both natural and forced circulating type, NEM offers know-how and vast experience in the field of heat recovery in Combined Cycle and Cogeneration Power Plants.
