CVL gas/oil fired
Boiler is Bi-drum, natural circulation, bottom supported
water tube type designed suitable for forced draught operation
.The components of this boiler consists of steam drum, mud
drum, gas tight combustion chamber, evaporator (bank) tubes and economizer.
Moisture separation in the steam drum is accomplished with
separating chamber. The mud drum is provided with an intermittent
blow down connection to remove any accumulated solids. Both
the drums are connected by an array of evaporator (bank) tubes
arranged in-line. These tubes are attached to the drums
by expansion. The last row of evaporator tubes are membrane
welded continuously. The saturated steam from steam drum passes
to convection super heater and to radiant super heater.
To provide the combustion air required for burning the fuel
forced draft fan (FD) has been installed. The FD fan to burner
duct is made of Carbon steel plates of sufficient thickness. . |
